WinMacro and Editing Recorded Scripts

Keywords: Editing Recorded Scripts

Question:

After a macro has been created and saved, I edit the script. The new macro does not seem to run until I Close and Re-open the archive.

Is there a shortcut to "reload" after making changes to a script?

Answer:

Actually, you cannot incorporate the changes back to WinMacro at all.

WinMacro can only play back the binary macros that it records. Exporting to a text script is a one-way process.

You can run the edited script using WinBatch though.
