I want to send a carriage return to my printer. How do I do that?

Answer:

• Create a file with a hex editor, or an editor that can save line endings as a CR character (rather than CR/LF). Put in the CR, and save the file.

• Now send the file to the printer port with the FileCopy function.

You could do something similar if you wanted to copy a formfeed to the printer. Again, create a file with the Formfeed character (ASCII 12) in it, and send it to the printer port.
