How to Pass Passwords

I am having trouble passing keystrokes to the application's password prompt. Is there any special way to pass the password or is this a limitation?

Answer:

Depends on the following:
  1. First get the password prompt on the screen.

  2. Now, can you switch to other windows or start an new application (such as notepad.exe ??) ?

    • If the answer is NO - Too bad. The application has locked down windows and nothing can run, Complain to application vendor and ask that the dialog be modified so that it is not SYSTEM_MODAL.

    • If the answer is YES - WinBatch ought to be able to fill it in.
