wntChgPswd and Error 586: Unable to Access Specified Server or Domain

Keywords: wntChgPswd Error 586: Unable to Access Specified Server or Domain

Question:

I'm using WntChgPswd and specifying "*UNKNOWN*" as the old password. I'm logged in as superuser using wntRunAsUser (with full logon type and flags (4th and 5th parameters) 2,0 respectively), and have specified the domain as the first parameter, and username as the second parameter, then "*UNKNOWN*", and then the new password.

The user (administrator) has full permissions to change this password.

I'm getting the Error 586: Unable to Access Specified Server or Domain. Any ideas?

Resolution:

The user changed the domain in the first parameter to the \\SERVERNAME and that fixed the problem.
