Question:

I'm not sure what the difference when I get the return code for wntServerType.

0 = Invalid Server Name
1 = Other

What is the difference in the definition between them..

Answer:

0 = Invalid Server Name

Server name in incorrect format or
server not found for query


1 = Other

Server is NOT
2 Windows for Workgroups
3 Windows 95 or later
4 Windows NT or later

e.g. Samba, Netware, Linux, Banyan Vines, etc
