Maximum Memory Allocation in Windows 3.1 versus Windows95/NT

Keywords: max memory

Question:

What's the maximum memory allocation available in Windows 3.1 versus Windows 95?

Answer:

Max memory alloc on 3.1 is 15MB on a good day.

In Win95/NT, the memory available is much much larger than that. Theoretical limit is around 2GB, although we've never tried anything that large.

In the 70MB range should be OK.
