Question:

Can Word and Procomm Plus be run in hidden windows?

Answer:

All bets are off when using the RunHide command. Some stuff works very well, and some stuff does not. You cannot send keystrokes to a hidden window.

RunHide does not force the Window to be hidden (See docs). Use a WinHide instead.

DOS RunHide Question:

Is there a reason why Runhide doesn't always hide Dos Programs when executing??? Is there another way to do this???

Answer:

RunHide does not hide a "full-screen" dos app. It can only affect "windowed" DOS apps.

You probably need to define a shortcut/PIF file for the DOS app that indicates *always* run this guy windowed.
