Win32 Network Extenders and Compiler

Question:

When I attempt to compile a WinBatch script in interactive mode using only the generic 32-bit network extender, the compiler adds www9534I and wwwnt34I extenders in addition to wwnet32. Why does it add these extra extenders creating a larger file? Can they be removed?

Answer:

The "generic" network extender simply looks around, figures out what platfor it is on (95 or NT) then calls the appropriate other DLL. It needs the other DLLS to function properly.
