Searcher and More than 100 Open Handles

Question:

I checked out the search extender and deltree.wbt. This is what I need, however I see in the srchinit function I can only have 100 open handles. Unfortunately I need to delete around 250 - 350 directories and files.

If I run go ole dos deltree.exe, how can I close the window? Any suggestions.

Answer:

No no. You can use it. The open handles mean 100 different searches going on at the same time. Nothing to do with filecounts.

Most people only have one search open at a time. The whole deltree only uses one handle.
