Use Postie for mail forwarding ?

Question:

Is it possible to use POSTIE to retrieve mail from a POP3 server and forward the mail AS IT IS to another SMTP server..

I ask this because Exchange 2000 has a very buggy pop3 connector. I could buy a third party connector. But why not create a forwarding tool with winbatch POSTIE??

Answer:

Vaguely possible maybe. I never poked around sufficiently to see if I could relay messages transparently. You have to configure the program for each account it needs to check/forward. It's a 'fun' program to write since Postie input/output formats of Postie do not match.

There are programs out there that will do that though.
