Question:

I attach one zip file to an outgoing email. No problem
I attach one batch file to an outgoing email. Problem

Extension on the batch file is changed to '.z|3' .

Very Important --->>> Subject line of these emails is also the variable I use to contain the attachment list, and the subject line of the emails correctly displays .bat.

Very very strange. Forces me to save as and change .z|3 to .bat every single time.

Do you have some kind of e-mail Proctection set to on?

Yes. The problem was virus checking / firewall software that won't allow batch files, exe's, dll's, etc. to be received - it changes the extension to non-executable extensions.
