How do I use Webbatch with MS FrontPage or Other HTML Editors?

Keywords: HTML interface

Question:

Webbatch seems like a nice product. Now how do I get it to work with MS Front Page?

Answer:

Webbatch is actually designed for the other end of the connection.

WebBatch runs on the web server side of the connection and generates pages to be sent back to the browser. To use it, you need either full control of an NT based Web server or else a *very* co-operative ISP hosting your pages (and they have to be running a NT based server).

The webbatch scripts are accessed via http:// links, pretty much like most other links you might create in Front Page.

You can use Front Page to generate HTML that you later have WebBatch sendout (usually with some modifications).

Front page really does not get heavily involved with it.
