I keep getting error 263 cWndbyWndSpec Unable To Collect Windows Specification Information, when I run the RoboScripter utility.

I get the error trying to access *any* window on Windows XP, using RoboScripter.

Do you happen to have performance counters disabled? The RoboScripter needs to access the 'process' counter, in order to get the windows specification.

Both Logical and Physical Disk Performance counters are enabled by default. Did you disable the performance counters on this machine, using the 'diskperf' utility or some other utility?

You might check the following registry key to see if performace counters are disabled. 

If Disabled:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\PerfProc\Performance
]"Disable Performance Counters" = 1
To re-enable simply change that value to 0, and try again... 
Enabled:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\PerfProc\Performance
]"Disable Performance Counters" = 0
