EhllapiPostInterceptStatus
Question:
EhllapiPostInterceptStatus states in the help file "In most of the terminal emulator software, this results in some sort of
audible sound being generated or in some other visible indicator being at least momentarily activated to make the end user
aware of the accepted or rejected status of the keystroke that they entered." Is there a way to turn that off for PCOMM v5.6
and or for ehllapiPostInterceptStatus not to return the sound.
Answer:
That audible and/or visible user notification functonality is implemented within the terminal emulator itself. Unless there's
something that you can configure within the emulator to disable it, I don't know of any means of doing so via the EHLLAPI
extender.
