Postie Error 10053
Question:
Does anyone know what error number -10053 stands for when using Postie to send emails?Answer:
10053 WSA_E_CONN_ABORTEDI think the remote mail server decided it did not like the IP address of the PC you were connecting from and just dropped the connection rather than gracefully shutting it down.
To debug, use a standard POP3/IMAP4 type email prograsm (Outlook Express, and most email programs except for stuff like Outlook used with an Exchange amil erver or Groupwise or something.
Get that working fisrt, and figure out all the configuration parameters requied to make it work. Then code the Posite script.
