dbOpen 10012 Read-Only Error
Question:
I received the error:10012 dbOpen: File D:\...\...\file.csv is Read-Only. This is because the file is currently locked by another application using LAFFDB, or because the file has been set to read-only for some other reason. You can open this file for viewing only by setting appropriate flags."
I know why I received this error but I want to know how I can open for viewing only usings flags. What flags, where?
Answer:
I think that is a bad error message. Its a single user database. It sets the database to read-only to try to keep it intact. There was some plan to try to make it multiuser, but those plans died.Article ID: W16830
