WebBatch on Virtual Servers

Keywords:

Question:

I've used WebBatch on a dedicated server and everything works fine. However, I'm thinking of buying another copy to install on a virtual server... I won't be allowed any access to the root or any other areas except "my" subdirectories.

I can't think of any reason why WebBatch shouldn't work in this Virtual Server scenario, but I thought I'd ask before I spent the big bucks. Obviously, the system admin will have to install it and set up a CGI alias for a subdirectory in my area, but is there anything else I'm not realizing?

Answer:

Ummm the Virtual server MUST be running on a Windows NT/95 machine - not a Unix machine.

WebBatch will need write access to the registry for the install and licensing portion of the procedure, then all it needs is read access.

If you buy it and it does not work, we do have a 90-day money-back guarantee.
