Webbatch and 500 Server Error During Configuration

Keywords: Webbatch and 500 Server Error During Configuration

Question:

I'm trying to install WebBatch to run on Windows NT with WebSite Pro 2.2. I think that I have the CGI mappings correct, but I keep getting the following error from the server:
500 Server Error

The server encountered an error and was unable to complete your request.

Message: Couldn't find CGI output from "H:/web/esh/cgi-win/webbatch.exe"
The WebBatch error log contains the following message for the same request:
06/18/98 15:41:37 WebBatch

WebBatch Error: Not enough command-line parameters

H:\web\esh\cgi-win\y2k_indx.web
Anybody have any ideas???

Answer:

There is a section in the help file about configureing the WINCGI mappings. Either adjust them to the version in the help file, or use the preferred standard CGI stuff instead.

You need to enter "~p ~v ~i ~o ~a" in the server properties. If there is no CGI tab (or anything similar) in the Server Properties of WebSite 2.2, then use standard CGI.
