WinBatch+Compiler Icon Files

The WinBatch+Compiler comes with customized icons you can use when compiling your scripts into EXEs. These are located in the 'WinBatch\Icons' subdirectory.

The WinBatch+Compiler requires the icons have a certain file format.

• Icon files must be named with the standard .ICO file extension.

• The icon (.ICO) file can contain a single icon group.

• An icon group is a set of one or more associated icon images, of different dimensions and color depths.

  Supported image formats:

  Dimensions	Color depth
  16x16	4 bit (16 color) 8 bit (256 color)
  32x32	4 bit (16 color) 8 bit (256 color)
  48x48	4 bit (16 color) 8 bit (256 color)

  
  Note: 32 bit (True color) color depth is not currently supported.

Notice: Icons MUST have ALL 6 (more are allowed) of the above definitions built into it. If you do not have all 6, some of the icons will not get replaced, and the wrong icon may be sometimes displayed.

If you have pre-existing icons, they will need to be updated to this format, if you choose to use them with the WinBatch+Compiler.
