Unexpected Error Quitting When Using RunEnviron

Keywords: Unexpected Error Quitting

Question:

I have a script running on the NT AT command that gets the unexpected error - quitting message and does not tell me anything else.

It occurs on the RunEnviron command executing the Solomon IV program. I ran the script from the desktop command window and it ran fine.

I have signed the scheduling service on with the same user that I ran the script on the desktop with. I have set the path with the Environset command and by signing on the scheduling service as a special user the drives are available.

Is there anything you can tell me about the unexpected error quitting message?

Answer:

The EnvironSet function sets the path that the program you are going to run (Solomon) will see. However it does not set the path that the Winbatch script will use to locate the program.

But it works when logged in as a desktop user.

Well try adding a:

	DirChange("x:\whereever\the exe is")
To help WinBatch locate the program.
