IntControl 68 will reboot instead of shut down

Question:

I am attempting to use IntControl 68 to shutdown my Win 2000 machine. However, it seems to be rebooting instead of Shuting down.

Does this computer support power off on shutdown?

OK, I was able to figure something out. (After reading some of the material you linked to). On a 'problem' machine, I was able to get IntControl 68 to function correctly, AFTER placing a check in 'Enable Advanced Power Management support'.

I'll compare this condition on known working and non-working machines, and I'll let you know what I find out. My guess is, if the box is not checked, IntControl 68 will reboot instead of shut down.
