IsMenuChecked - MenuChange - IsMenuEnabled Functions

Keywords: IsMenuChecked MenuChange	IsMenuEnabled

Question:

What are these three functions designed to work with?

Answer:

IsMenuChecked, MenuChange, and IsMenuEnabled are designed to see if menu items are checked in programs that have menu based implementations of WIL (or in our older utility called CommandPost, which is now extinct).

As far as we can tell there may be no currently available menu-based implementations of any program that can use these functions.

These functions do not workwith FileMenu or PopMenu (those menu items aren't checked/unchecked anyway).

None of these functions can detect if menu items are checked in third party applications, such as MS Office. But oftentimes there are other means to get that information. For example, sometimes that information is stored in INI files in the registry.
