WinActivate with Remote desktop

Question:
I just recently moved my procedures to a different computer. The only difference is the windows is a new version win 2000 to winxp. I am now using remote desktop vs vnc to connect to this computer. If I leave the remote desktop window open everything works fine, but if I disconnect or minimize the remote desktop it will not do the winactivate. any suggestions.Answer:
Remote desktop has a habit of logically disconnecting the remote desktop progess then it is not visible. You may need to either stick with VNC or figure out how to recode your script to nor require access to the screen. This might mean not using Sendkeys or mousemoves at all.Article ID: W17411
