How to Hide Desktop Icons

How would I hide all desktop icons at once?Answer:
You could move the icons (shortcuts) from the desktop directory to a different directory. But this method actually removes the icons from the desktop, instead of hiding them.For a normal installation, the desktop icons are located in c:\windows\desktop. If your installation is set up to allow individual user profiles, the icons would be c:\windows\profiles\userid\desktop.
If you are running win95 or 98, the Microsoft powertoy named TweakUI allows you to hide the default Microsoft icons on the desktop. You can get the powertoys from the MS website, if you don't already have the set.
