Set Modified Date for a Directory

Question:

Is it possible to change the "date modifed" for a directory (folder)? I know that FileTimeSetEx can change the "date modifed" for a file, but it doesn't work for a folder. I am trying to duplicate a directory structure in every way, including folder timestamps.

Answer:

In former DOS times with FAT table on disk, there was a trick to do this: Change directory attribut to normal filename, change datetime, change attribute back to directory. I think, this hardware touch is no more allowed in current OS's, and cannot be done anymore. Even in W9x MS has forgotten those system near function.
