1251 Ole - WIL Ole interface Dll not found
Question:
I have just upgraded my production compiler to 2003j and am getting the following when distributing large exes
1251: Ole: WIL Ole interface Dll not found (WBOxxyyy.DLL)
On line: objXL = ObjectAccess("Excel.Application",@true)
WinBatch 32 2003J
WIL Version: 4.2jdb
Answer:
If you attempt to use any of the OLE functions (i.e., ObjectOpen, ObjectAccess ObjectClose), you will need to include the WIL Ole interface dll in the compile/distribution.When you compile the Large exe for Standalone PCs, make sure to choose the 'COM/OLE 2.0 Automation Pseudo Extender' from the extender list.
