How to Send Keystrokes to a Console Window

Keywords: emulate emulator emulating emulates

Question:

Can WB send keystrokes to a console window? My window does not have a window title, so I'm using Sendkey, rather than SendKeysTo.

Answer:

WB can send keystrokes to emulator-type windows, with the following stipulations:
  1. The window must be run as a Normal window, rather than zoomed or iconized.

  2. The window must be the active window in order to use Sendkey.

  3. Some terminal emulator windows are weird and require that you push, for example, the right control key twice, on a different part of the keyboard than WB can access. WB cannot handle this.
