WinBatch Studio Hints Problem

Question:
I have just downloaded v 2007B compiler. It is impossible to turn of the Winbatch tips on my Vista W/S. It will not retain the setting other than 'Daily' and furthermore this is in fact 'On Startup'.What registry setting can I change to turn this darn thing OFF forever.Answer:
This is a bug relating to VISTA User Access Control.
Quick fix
Delete or rename the wshints.exe file in your WinBatch\System folder.
Alternate fix
Temporarily disable UAC (Control Panel - User Accounts)
Run wshints.exe. Make settings changes. Close program. Re-enable UAC
Basically all that is happening is that the the program is attempting to update the c:\windows\www-prod.ini file. This file is (supposed to be) no longer used by WinBatch. But apparently wshints.exe slipped thru the cracks.
