Does anybody know of a document that focuses on WinBatch and 64-bit?
Answer:
The only issues encountered so far have been:
File and registry redirection issues : The file/registry redirection issue applies to
both Vista x64 and XP x64, and the changes made for Vista seem to work on XP. IntControl 92.
The inability of some Control Manager functions to access 64 bit application windows.
The Windows Vista and UAC. In order to run a compiled WinBatch EXE, that contains
Control Manager Extender functions, on a Windows System with UAC enabled requires that:
- The Exe Manifest specifies uiAccess=true
- The Exe is 'Signed' by a 'Trusted Authority'.
- The Exe is installed in or under the "Program Files" folder or in the
"Windows\System32" folder
A lack of support for Netware Directory Services (NDS) in XP x64's ADSI sub-system.
Haven't looked into the ADSI-NDS problem yet.
The WinMacro recorder/playback function is inoperable in Vista and 64 bit systems in general.
Also the Filemenu Utility only likes the 32 bit version of Windows Explorer. You can run the provided
"filemenu.exe" to run the correct version of Windows Explorer,
