Question:
WinBatch Studio periodically checks many of its open files to detect if the file has been modified or changed outside of Winbatch Studio and pops up an open "has been modified" message.At times, such as on slow network connections (which may lead to a certain amount of "choppiness" in editin) , or with bugs on network servers (re MS Hotfix for XP SP1 811492) this functionality is not desired.
To disable:
Run regedit.exe and add a new value.
Keyname
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wilson WindowWare\WinBatch Studio\Settings\Main Window
Add a new DWORD value BackgroundCheck
Set the BackgroundCheck value to 0
