Unable to Run WIL Extension

Keywords: WIL .WIL *.wil not runnable extension.

Question:

Starting in WinBatch 2007E, I am no longer able to run my .wil projects from the debug menu. It states that *.wil is not a runnable extension.

Answer:

Due to some changes intended for Vista/Manifests, we have changed how the interpreter gets launched from WinBatch Studio environment. We had inadvertently overlooked the .wil extension support.

You will need an updated wbml.exe file.

Here is the WinBatch Studio Fix for 2007E. This should resolve the issue with running .WIL files. Simply copy the wbml.exe to the WinBatch\System subdirectory. WBML2007E.ZIP
