How to Get the Domain that a User Belongs to

Question:

I'm using the wntMemberList function with the localgroups parameter. This returns the local groups users, but without the domain to which they belong.

Is there a way to obtain their associated domain, along with their user ID?

Answer:

No functions in Winbatch to do that at the present time (Feb 98), but we'll add it to our list.

UPDATE!!!!

New function available in WinBatch version 98D or newer (This function was added around Sep 29, 1998.):

   wntMemberLst2(server-name, group-name, group-type)

      Lists all members of a user group, with domains.
