PopMenuStartup Issue

Question:

On a workstation with XP Pro SP3 with Winbatch 32 2009 B WIL Version: 6.09bib: When PopmenuStartUp.exe is run it stops with error 
1932: WinExec: Function Failed
On line 23 openfiles C:\Bizbocs.....PopMenuStartup.wbt
Run(popmenu,"")

Answer:

The PopMenuStartup program is not finding the 'real' PopMenu executable. It could be because of a problem during the installation process. You might want to check your installation to make sure that the that PopMenu.exe exists and is in the same directory as the PopMenuStartup.exe you are attempting to launch.

PopMenuStartup.exe conducts a very basic but thorough search to find and then execute PopMenu.exe. If this is not working, the problem likely resides outside the domain of WinBatch. You are going to have to figure out what changed on your system and why.

And a good starting point would be to make sure you have access to the registry key 

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\PopMenu.exe
from the user account that attempts to start PopMenu.

The solution:
I use Zonealarm Security Suite to protect my workstation. Program Control is at Max and customized to Enable Advanced Program Control and Enable Application Interaction Control. When I increased Trust Level til Super for Programs popmenu and PopMenuStartUp the error disappeared.
