So, my question is: Is it possible to have multiple versions of the compiler on the same machine? My tests indicate that this could be problematic, and, in particular, that the license info isn't shared among versions. When I run the older compiler, it prompts for licensing info, and doesn't accept anything I enter.
Basically.
First: Install the older version in some wierd directory.
Second: Install current version in desired directroy.
The main thing is to install the "old" version (in some other directory), then re-install the new version (in the usual directory), so that the associations, etc point to the new version. Then if necessary you can write scripts to swap the registration info around.
Not so slick option:
Keep license numbers for both products handy. Make special shortcuts pointing to older versions. Use shortcuts
to run older versions. Enter license numbers has prompted.
Slicker option:
Write small script to flip flop registry entries for you.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wilosnd WindowWare\WinBatch\Settings mostly.
