Create XML DB from a TXT File then Do an OLE Lookup

Keywords: XML OLE Lookup

The attached zip file contains
xmlseekm.wbt <---- modified script

mex.txt <---- CityCode values for Mexico
The text file has near 7,000 entries. For those of you sans telecom - after you dial 011, if the next 2 digits are 52, then the call is routed to Mexico, ergo 52 is the CountryCode for Mexico. The next 4 digit after the 52 determine the citycode, then on to the person you are calling,

The (where 9=any number) 529999 combination in Mexico resembles the areacode/location or NPA/NXX in the U.S.

suffice to say each line in the text file has a 6-digit citycode followed by the city.

Similar to the last script, xmlseekm first creates an XML database from the text file, then permits you to search or add to the database.

In testing I entered 528760 (city of Monterry), which is about at the end of the text file and results were returned in under a second.

MEX.ZIP
